I have been in the health and wellness field industry for over twenty years; I completed my training from the Edmonton College of Swedish Relaxation Massage in 2002. I began my career with a focus on pain relief and injury treatment and recovery as a therapeutic centred practitioner. I like to work with my clients to achieve their health goals. In 2005 I completed my Professional Foot Reflexology training with the Universal College of Reflexology . I soon discovered the addition of reflexology to my sessions often improved the efficacy of the treatments. I continued taking specialized massage classes such as deep tissue massage and myo-fascial release techniques. I also continued taking additional reflexology classes for pregnancy and postpartum, as well as improving /supporting better digestion thru reflexology. This led me to complete my Professional Hand Reflexology course in 2008. My clients can expect to experience a customized and thorough therapeutic session with an encouragement for them to create better self awareness, to incorporate self care practises and techniques to help prevent injuries/discomfort and to maintain ideal levels of flexibility, range of motion and strength in body, mind and spirit. I returned to school in 2021 to study nutrition; I completed my certification in Wholistic Nutrition in 2022 and use this new knowledge to further empower my clients to make positive choices for their health and wellbeing journey.

My background in medical laboratory and interest in physiology and human anatomy drew me to a career in Massage Therapy. In 2017, I enrolled in the Massage Therapy 2200 hour program at M.H Vicars School of Massage Therapy, graduating with honors. Massage therapy expanded my understanding in advanced anatomy, physiology and orthopaedic assessment. I have a holistic view on health and well-being, and use massage therapy as a tool to bring balance back to the body and mind.

I am trained in a wide variety of modalities that include Swedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, Infant and Child Massage, Hydrotherapy, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Active & Passive Release, TMJD, Trigger Point Release, Advanced Myofascial Cupping and Deep Tissue Massage techniques.

Tailored towards clients’ specific needs, my main goal is to provide effective treatments, encourage self-care and pain management.

My focus is to educate and introduce my clients in the importance of self-care routine and therapeutic massage techniques that will bring about positive changes in their bodies and lives.

I encourage my clients and myself to practice proper postural alignment and awareness that promotes optimal balance within the body. It is important to me to create time for each of my clients and find the best approach to offer maximum pain relief through effective treatment planning.

The outdoors and active lifestyle have always been a key part of my life, which I share with my husband Shawn. I’m truly excited to be a part of this incredible team at Action Chiroprectic and MassageTherapy Clinic. I look forward to helping you reach your therapeutic goals.
